Chili Basil Pesto
The key to making good pesto is knowing what you’re going to do with it. If you’re going to cook it, in some way… go nuts with the garlic. If you’re not, you may not want to add 5 cloves of raw garlic to this recipe. I was putting it on a pizza, so I made it pretty strong so it didn’t get lost.
- 1 bunch of basil, stems and all
- 5 cloves of garlic (just use one if you’re not cooking this)
- 1 chili
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- Salt, to taste
Puree, and serve.
